We had the set menu, a bottle of wine and a Seville martini. The food was high quality, freshly prepared and really delicious. The black rice and the pork skewers were especially good. The cocktail was really enjoyable, with a real bitter marmalade quality, as was the wine. Service was wonderful. I’d recommend this place and will be back myself.
Now called Si Hombre. Excellent food. Some classic Spanish, some Jamaican-Spanish fusion. Excellent and unique in Stoke Newington. We went a la carte but they also have a 3-course multi choice set menu for £25!!! Great wines and cocktails too - I highly recommend the spicy mango margarita.
We had our engagement party at Si Hombre and it was perfect! Melvin was awesome to work with—super helpful and made everything easy. The food and drinks were great, the vibe was fun, and our guests had the best time. Huge thanks to the Si Hombre team! Gaby & Ben
We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! The cozy, candlelit ambiance added to the overall charm of the restaurant, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The friendly and hospitable owner made us feel welcome, while the talented Spanish chef ensured an authentic culinary experience. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes; the standout for me was the black Iberian pork tenderloin. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an authentic Spanish dining experience. The combination of warm hospitality and delicious cuisine makes it a must-visit. We can't wait to go back!
As a Spanish person I can say this was a great discovery with amazing food! I'm also coeliac and 90% of the menu is gluten free. They also adapted the fried calamari to be gluten free by using chickpea flour and frying it in a different pan. I really appreciated it, gluten free people will understand me :) We can't recommend enough the morcilla (Spanish black pudding), the solomillo and the boquerones. They also had few other things outside the menu, such as pulpo con patatas, which was amazing. We were two and had six dishes to share and a jug of Sangria. We will definitely come back soon!
Tantalising tapas Wonderful dishes, refreshing sangria, welcoming staff & a wicked playlist This spot is one to visit for you tapas lovers! They also have a party room downstairs, which is available to hire, great size! Keep an eye out on this restaurant, Melvin has lots of great ideas
